Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Drilling Supervisor to provide onsite drilling oversight and operational support for exploratory and development wells. This role requires managing safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency while coordinating activities between field operations and office support. The position involves resolving complex problems and providing input to technical and functional strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite drilling oversight on exploratory and subsequent development wells
• Oversee overall safety and environmental aspects of the operations
• Ensure local regulations are strictly complied with at all times
• Develop a plan for the successful and efficient implementation of the drilling program to optimize operations
• React to and control any situation regarding the rig and personnel onboard
• Track and control costsMaintain records and reports of operations
• Maintain good communication between office and rig
• Coordinate and critique service company activities
• Provide office-based operational support as required
• Review and optimize drilling programs/procedures
• Assist in preparation of drilling documentation/manuals
• Participate in emergency preparedness and permitting activities

Skills and Qualifications

• Typically 10-15 years of experience
• Provides oversight to professional and/or lead staff
• Responsibilities may include several technical/functional areas
• Resolves complex problems
• Provides input to development of technical/functional strategies and ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives
• Decisions are guided by functional objectives

Schedule: 3 weeks on/ 3weeks off (12hr/day)
