Experienced Driller OpportunityWe're looking for an experienced driller to join our team supporting transmission line, substation, and substation foundation projects across the Midwest and beyond. This is a travel-based opportunity for skilled drillers with experience in utility construction, drilled piers, foundations, heavy civil, or related field work.Job Responsibilities:Operate and maintain drilling equipment used for transmission and substation foundation projectsPerform drilling for drilled piers, caissons, and other deep foundation applicationsRead and understand project plans, specifications, and drilling requirementsSet up and safely operate drilling equipment according to project requirementsAssist with casing, rebar cages, anchor bolt cages, concrete placement, and related foundation activitiesMonitor drilling conditions, depths, alignment, and production to ensure quality workPerform daily equipment inspections and identify mechanical or operational issuesCoordinate with foremen, laborers, equipment operators, and other members of the field crewMaintain a safe and organized work area around drilling operationsFollow all company, OSHA, utility, and project-specific safety requirementsHelp keep projects on schedule while maintaining a strong focus on safety and qualityTravel to various project locations as neededQualifications:3+ years of drilling experience in utility construction, heavy civil, foundations, or related industriesExperience drilling for transmission lines, substations, drilled piers, foundations, or similar projectsExperience operating large drilling equipment and working around heavy construction equipmentFamiliarity with drilling through varying soil and subsurface conditionsAbility to understand drilling plans, foundation drawings, and project specificationsKnowledge of drilled pier installation, casing, rebar, anchor bolts, and concrete placement is a plusStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment inspectionsAbility to work outdoors in physically demanding conditionsStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailCommitment to jobsite safety and qualityWillingness to travel extensivelyCandidates can be based anywhere in the Midwest, South, East, or Central U.S. and must be willing to travel to project sites as needed.
