Perform soil test borings and obtain accurate logs and soil samples for laboratory analysis and engineering evaluations. Work is outdoors in all weather conditions.
The work is generally physically demanding.Responsibilities:Safety conscience in all aspects of workOperate drilling equipment such as rotary wash and auger drill rigObtain SPT, Auger and Core samplesKeep accurate and detailed recordsClassify soils in the fieldPrepare field boring logsMeasure water levels at test boring locationsInstall monitoring wells and piezometersMaintain drill rig equipmentPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:CDL Class A license a plusA minimum of 2 years geotechnical drilling experience is requiredMechanical skills preferredMust have or be able to obtain a DOT medical examiner's certificate prior to employmentMust pass company background checks including drug screenMust have an excellent driving record within company standardsBilingual in English and SpanishWe offer a comprehensive benefits program including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, and much more.We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
