Position Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of patients in either an inpatient or outpatient environment, creating tailored treatment strategies
- Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
- Work collaboratively with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and recommended home exercises
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
- Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure cohesive patient care
Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a similar degree from a recognized institution
Certifications
- Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- CPR certification preferred
- Specialty certifications (such as in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous but not mandatory

- Prior relevant experience is highly preferred
