Job Summary:
ESP Services is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dozer Operator to join our team in Houston, TX . The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience operating dozers for cut paving, foundation work, and pavement paving . This role requires expertise in grading, excavation, and site preparation to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to exact specifications.
Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dozers to perform cut paving, foundation preparation, and pavement paving .
• Perform rough and finish grading to meet project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and grade stakes to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure proper compaction of soil and materials before paving.
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors, engineers, and other heavy equipment operators.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Adhere to all OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations .
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report any necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience operating a dozer in cut paving, foundation work, and pavement paving .
• Proficiency in grading, excavation, and compaction techniques .
• Experience with GPS-controlled dozer operations is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and grade stakes accurately.
• Strong understanding of soil types, compaction, and drainage .
• Must have a valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required).
• Ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physically demanding tasks .
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills .
