Responsibilities
- Able to perform general skills, in the level of acute care setting in the specialty with minimal orientation and supervision
- Provide external beam treatment planning for the delivery of radiation as prescribed by a physician
- Confer with the Radiation Oncologist to design and implement an optimal treatment plan
- Provide calculations to deliver prescribed dosses of radiation to the patient’s tumor volume
- Perform and document medical record quality checks
- Participate in patient localization, simulation, volume contouring, planning CT procedures and initial treatment
