Job Description
Under the supervision of the Chief Medical Physicist and the professional direction of a radiation oncologist, the medical dosimetrist is a member of the radiation oncology team who has knowledge of the overall characteristics and clinical relevance of radiation oncology in the management of cancer or other disease processes, with special expertise in radiation therapy treatment planning.

Olean General Hospital – Olean, NY, USA. Full‑time position. Shift 1. Standard bi‑weekly hours: 75.00. No weekend/holiday work. No on‑call duties.

Education and Credentials
B.S. degree in Medical Dosimetry or meets eligibility criteria for the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board. Mandatory certification within two years of graduation from an accredited dosimetry training school.
Experience
Minimum one year of progressively responsible experience in a medical radiation dosimetry environment.
Compensation
- Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate’s experience, qualifications, internal equity, and applicable collective bargaining agreement.
