You will have an opportunity to make a major impact and help elect a candidate who will make a positive difference.We are looking to hire a finance assistant to elevate the campaign's fundraising capacity.
The finance staffer will manage day to day aspects of the fundraising operation, as well as work with the finance director and campaign manager on big picture projects. This is a campaign position for the 2026 election.Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of call time program, including research, call sheet preparation, staffing call time, follow up, pledge chase etc.Support fundraising eventsStaff meetings and eventsTrack metrics of fundraising programWork with compliance team on check processing and NGP maintenanceIdentify new fundraising opportunitiesAssist with other campaign-related activities as neededPreferred Qualifications:A minimum of 1-2 years prior fundraising experience (could be campaign or political-adjacent)Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and able to multi-taskExperience managing up and managing downStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to take and implement feedbackProactive mindsetProficiency with NGP, Votebuilder, ActBlue, Google Drive, and other related toolsExperience with different fundraising tacticsMust be willing to relocate to Southeast Kansas.
