Experienced Dog Groomer Come Work Somewhere You’re Valued
You already know how to groom. Now find a salon that supports the groomer behind the table.
If you love grooming but are tired of feeling overworked, underappreciated, unsupported, or like there’s nowhere left to grow, Rustic Scruff may be the change you’ve been looking for.
We believe talented groomers deserve more than a table and a packed schedule. You deserve a workplace where your time is respected, your hard work is noticed, and you can grow your career without sacrificing your life outside of work.
What Might Feel Different Here?
You can actually take time off.
We offer paid AND unpaid time off and long holiday weekends because your life outside of work matters, too.
We provide the clientele.
No need to build your book from scratch. We provide an established client base so you can focus on doing what you love.
We invest in our groomers.
Enjoy free grooming for your own pets, an equipment-sharpening stipend, retail discounts, and support for continuing education and professional development.
Your earning potential matters.
Our groomers earn commission + tips, and we’ve recently increased salon pricing to better reflect the value of the work our groomers provide.
You’ll work for owners who are groomers, too.
We understand the difficult dogs, demanding clients, busy days, and what life behind the grooming table is actually like.
Culture matters here.
We want a team that helps each other, communicates, laughs together, and treats one another with respect. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to keep learning and improving.
We’re looking for an experienced groomer who is dependable, kind, confident completing full grooms, provides great customer service, and wants to be part of a team they can grow with.
Minimum 1 year of professional grooming experience required.
