You will work alongside the Technicians/Mechanics that will be assembling, testing, and repairing production hardware, working at our state-of-the-art climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Montville, NJ. You will work with a cross-functional quality, production, and engineering team to achieve quality and on-time delivery goals.ResponsibilitiesYour overall responsibility will be to review the valves produced within the production cell and all accompanying documentation prior to presentation to final inspection. You will ensure that all products built within the production cell perform their intended functions in a satisfactory manner. Specific responsibilities include:Documentation Review:Work Order TravelerAcceptance Test Procedure (ATP) datasheetsAssembly Procedure (AP) datasheetsOscilloscope TracesNonconformance Packets (if applicable)Tool ListsHardware Review:Perform visual inspectionsCheck all Tec marksTorque shipping block screwsCheck orientation of all connectorsCheck mounting holes for damageClean ports where applicableCheck all lock wire is present/acceptableCheck nameplates are correctIssue Resolution:Manage or escalate issues impacting successful completion, communicating with technicians and team lead as necessaryIdentify and document non-conformancesParticipate in corrective action resolutionOther Tasks:Generate spreadsheets for data collection.Read, understand, and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, etc.Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into quality database.Complete special projects and miscellaneous assignments as required.Minimum Qualifications0-2 years' experience with documentation/inspection in a manufacturing or production environment with mechanical parts.Exceptional attention to detail.Contribute to a positive and cooperative work environment through effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow procedures.Strong Computer literacy, with PC skills and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office.High school diploma or equivalent.More experienced individual desired.
Compensated based on experience.Demonstrate the ability to understand and work with blueprint drawings, and component manuals.Must be a US CitizenSchedule: 4-Day Work Week – Monday-Thursday (6:00AM-4:30PM), OT availableThis position is at our Montville, NJ office location. Pay Range: $33.00 - $36.00/hourMany of our contracts require proof that you are a U.S. citizen and/or that an export license has been obtained for employees who are citizens of certain countries.
