Document Services ClerkAs a Document Services Clerk, you will provide document administrative services for a designated location, ensuring smooth operations of printing, imaging, and mail services while maintaining safety and customer service standards.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate high-volume copiers, printers, and document imaging equipment.Handle digital files: preparation, formatting, troubleshooting for print jobs.Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and professionalism.Assist customers with inquiries, print options, and service issue resolution.Stock, order, and maintain inventory of paper, toner, and supplies.Perform basic equipment maintenance.Follow production processes: cutting, binding, laminating, finishing.Prioritize and manage multiple print requests by urgency and complexity.Sort and process incoming/outgoing mail and courier packages.Order and stock toner/copy paper near devices.Escort shredding vendor/FM vendors as required.Assist with provisioning shredding consoles or extra services.Provide volume and site reporting as required.Occasionally work extended hours/weekends to meet operational needs.Perform other duties as assigned.Education & ExperienceHS Diploma or GED required.Minimum 1 year of related experience.Prior customer service and document services experience preferred.Communication SkillsFamiliarity with printer/copier machinery (operation, toner replacement).Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, memos, and correspondence.Ability to write routine reports and respond to inquiries/complaints.Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people.Warm, engaging demeanor with empathy and helpfulness.Financial KnowledgeAbility to calculate simple figures such as percentages.Reasoning AbilityUnderstand and carry out general instructions in standard situations.Solve problems in standard situations with basic analytical skills.Other Skills & AbilitiesBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.Familiarity with file types: TIFF, JPEG, PDF, Word, Excel.Ability to work with mobile technologies and multiple software platforms.Strong organizational skills; track/report requests via computer systems.Work well under pressure with multiple deadlines.Flexible schedule based on business needs.Physical ability: lift/move 30–40 boxes, operate a dolly, lift up to 50 lbs.Strong problem-solving skills; adaptable and flexible.Safety RequirementsComplete all required HSE training satisfactorily.Follow all HSE-related policies and procedures.Participate in HSE programs, incident investigations, audits, and assessments.Report unsafe conditions or stop work if necessary.Interview Process:1 virtual and/or 1 in-person interviewMetasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
