Dockworker PositionHiring dockworkers to load and unload trailers in our fast-paced warehouse environment.Minimum Qualifications:Proper loading in and out of trailersHandle goods and equipment properly to avoid damage or breakageSort and label skids and place in proper locationsPerform inventory count based on bills of lading, trailer manifests or packing slips when loading and unloading goods and when loading and unloading shipments and returnsAssist drivers in loading / unloading of goods or equipmentPerforms daily routine inspection to forkliftMaintain good housekeeping around dock areaStack goods neatly and safelySubmit needed reports and information in a timely mannerPerform basic arithmetical calculations including addition, subtraction, division and multiplicationAssist supervisor in providing on the job training to new staff, participants, clients and volunteersLoad and secure shipments according to proper procedureUnderstand and implement safe, efficient freight handling and lifting proceduresRegular and reliable attendance is requiredOther duties as assignedBenefits and Additional Compensation:Eligible employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, which may include:Health, dental, and vision insurance$25,000 Company paid life insuranceVoluntary supplemental insurance401(k) plan participationPaid time off and holiday payEmployment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen.We participate in E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility in the United States.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
