Dock Worker

Our client, a leading logistics and transportation organization, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate , you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Louisville, KY

Pay Range: $17.00

Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 7am-3:30pm; Saturday 7am-12pm; Sunday and Wednesday off; Overtime as needed

What's the Job?

• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks and checking in merchandise

• Match purchase orders to sales orders and distribute orders to sales associates for processing

• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or shipped

• Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic

• Complete work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety policies and procedures

What's Needed?

• Basic written and verbal communication skills

• Basic computer skills

• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends

• Experience loading and unloading trailers in a warehouse or dock environment

• Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 75 pounds and load/unload trucks
