In this position you will support the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of enterprise DNS and Windows infrastructure across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments. Working closely with senior engineers, architects, and security teams, you will help ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of mission-critical infrastructure services.In this role, you will provide operational and engineering support for enterprise DNS platforms, DNS Anycast environments, and cloud-integrated infrastructure services. You will assist with modernization initiatives, automation efforts, troubleshooting activities, and operational improvements while supporting highly available enterprise environments.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise DNS services, hybrid cloud environments, and Windows infrastructure technologies. This position is well-suited for an experienced engineer who can independently manage complex operational responsibilities while continuing to grow technical depth in enterprise-scale DNS architecture and cloud networking.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience6+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering or systems administrationStrong hands-on experience supporting enterprise DNS environments in large-scale organizationsExperience supporting:Enterprise DNS platformsHybrid cloud environmentsOn-premises and cloud-integrated infrastructureHigh-availability infrastructure servicesExperience working with cloud providers and cloud networking services, including:AWS (Route 53, VPC networking)Microsoft Azure (Azure DNS, virtual networking)Working knowledge of DNS Anycast concepts and highly available DNS architecturesExperience troubleshooting DNS resolution, forwarding, replication, and connectivity issuesStrong understanding of:DNS protocols and name resolutionTCP/IP networking fundamentalsRouting and switching conceptsFirewalls and load balancingExperience supporting Windows Server 2019–2025 environmentsUnderstanding of Windows authentication, authorization, and identity servicesExperience supporting enterprise security standards and secure infrastructure practicesFamiliarity with automation and scripting technologies such as:PowerShellInfrastructure-as-code conceptsConfiguration management toolsStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in fast-paced, high-availability environmentsPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsExperience supporting enterprise DNS solutions in hybrid or multi-cloud environmentsExperience with:Route 53 ResolverAzure Private DNSNetScalerExperience supporting DNS Anycast implementationsFamiliarity with zero trust principles and enterprise security architecturesExperience supporting compliance-driven or regulated environmentsExperience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation toolingKnowledge of DNS security best practices and DNS threat mitigation techniquesExperience participating in infrastructure modernization initiativesAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical teamsDesire to grow into advanced engineering and architecture responsibilitiesPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $ - $ Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
