DMHFAC ReceptionistThe purpose of this position is to handle front office reception and administration duties including greeting students and community patrons, answering phones, handling membership inquiries, and maintaining a safe/enjoyable environment. The length of employment is routinely the academic year (fall and spring terms); however, some work may be performed during the summer as needed.Job Duties:Maintaining an environment of safety for patrons, self and othersAnswers telephone, takes accurate messages, and routes calls to the proper personnelEnsures that facility towels are washed and dried in a timely mannerChecks locker rooms periodically, wiping down counters, picking up towels, and mopping as necessaryGreets members and guests; recording attendance on computerReceives payment for membership fees, child care, and purchased items using the POS terminalKeeps area clean and completely stockedAbilities: Good people skills and a helpful attitude; good organizational skills and ability to take direction; attention to detail and accuracy completing tasks.Education and Experience: HS Diploma or equivalent. Note: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
