Division Director of Rheumatology

The Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine, in partnership with the SSM Health Academic Division, invites applications for the position of Division Director of Rheumatology. This is a prominent leadership opportunity for a collaborative and visionary academic physician to lead one of the Midwest's most established and respected rheumatology programs. The incoming director will provide strategic, operational, and academic leadership across the division's tripartite mission of clinical care, education, and research.

• Division of Rheumatology within the Department of Internal Medicine at Saint Louis University School of Medicine and SSM Health Academic Division
• Serves over 7,500 patients annually providing comprehensive care for adult patients with conditions including rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and other complex autoimmune and connective tissue disorders
• Clinical care is supported by a dedicated rheumatology laboratory offering advanced immunologic testing
• Sponsors an ACGME-accredited fellowship program in rheumatology consistently ranked among the top 25 nationally
• Fellows benefit from robust clinical exposure in high-volume outpatient settings and provide inpatient consultation at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital
• SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is a LEVEL 1 Time Critical Diagnosis hospital in Stroke, Trauma and STEMI

Requirements

• Hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD
• Be board-certified or board-eligible in Rheumatology
• Be eligible for Missouri medical licensure
