Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Division Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine for its Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science Department at Mount Sinai West (MSW). Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and update a strategic plan for the division in collaboration with the Department Chair and MFM System Division Director
- Create a positive work environment that encourages communication, professionalism, trust, and collaboration
- Promote and oversee the development of critical pathways, protocols, and evidence-based practice guidelines
- Conduct weekly division meetings and regular meetings with all division personnel
- Complete annual performance appraisals for practice doctors, including assessment of productivity and continued clinical competency
- Monitor the financial status of the division and develop corrective action plans
- Guide and monitor the academic advancement of divisional faculty and fellows through mentorship, feedback, and evaluation
- Establish and oversee implementation of inpatient protocols for high-risk patients
Compensation
- Compensation range from $550,000 to $750,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
- The salary range listed is for full-time employment and does not include bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits
- Monitor clinical activities to optimize RVU's and other clinical metrics
Requirements
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University
- New York State Medical License
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Fellowship trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in MFM
- Active DEA license
- Leadership experience
- Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
