Best Consulting is proud to lead the search for a Division Chief of Pediatric Anesthesiology at OU Health, Oklahoma's only comprehensive academic health system, uniting the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, OU Health Physicians, and Oklahoma Children's Hospital, home to the state's only Pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center.

Reporting to the Chair of Anesthesiology, the Division Chief will direct the clinical, academic, and operational future of pediatric anesthesia care within one of the region's largest and most respected departments. The Chief leads a multidisciplinary team providing anesthesia for pediatric surgery, interventional procedures, imaging, and pain management, while advancing medical education, driving clinical research, and supporting an ACGME-accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Pediatric Anesthesiology Section, cultivating clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Establish clinical protocols and quality initiatives that advance the standard of pediatric anesthesia care.
• Coordinate with surgical, medical, and nursing teams to ensure seamless, multidisciplinary care.
• Align section priorities with the strategic direction of OU Health and the OU College of Medicine.
• Mentor faculty, residents, and fellows, modeling the highest standards of practice and professionalism.
• Strengthen educational programs and champion research, scholarly activity, and academic publication.
