Job Summary and Responsibilities
Creighton University Medical Center and CHI Health seek to recruit a visionary leader to serve as the Division Chief of Hematology/Oncology, expanding clinical, research, and educational activities within the Department of Medicine in partnership with The Henry Lynch Cancer Center.
- Work in an academic and teaching environment, educating residents and medical students and conducting research in collaboration with scientists within Common Spirit and Creighton University School of Medicine.
- Coordinate clinical trials and collaborate with basic and translational scientists at the Creighton Henry Lynch Cancer Center.
- Report to the Chair of Medicine at Creighton University and CHI Health.
- Participate in CHI-wide tumor boards.
- Support the establishment of a Hematology/Oncology Fellowship Program in partnership with colleagues.
- Drive growth of the Hematology/Oncology Division across clinical, research, and educational domains.
- Ensure high-quality outcomes across all procedures performed in the integrated system.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion; encourage applications from women, under‑represented minorities, and veterans.
Job Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology.
- Ability to obtain licensure in Nebraska.
- DEA certification.
- BLS certification.
