Epilepsy Division Chief

The Department of Neurology at West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute are seeking an Epilepsy Division Chief qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV and will be part of a highly collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Practice in the areas of neurology and epilepsy, providing excellent patient care.
• Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Participate in clinical care, research, and educational activities of the department.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for a West Virginia medical license.
• Completed a Neurology residency program and an Epilepsy fellowship program.
• Board certified or eligible in neurology and epileptology; all qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
• Qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank.
