Hudson is a big town with a small-town feel. Our comprehensive K-12 public school district is the heart of the community. Our schools are built on relationships - with each other, with students and with the community.
The Hudson School District is seeking a full and part-time paraeducators district wide to start in the school year.
Supervised by the Special Education Coordinator, the paraeducators will:

• Implement classroom accommodations.
• Organize the classroom environment and instructional materials.
• Reinforce instruction in accordance with each student's Individual Education Plan.

Full-time position to work 6.5 hours and part-time positions work 5.5 hours per day with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch. Paraeducators work 5 days per week for 189 total paid days including: 180 school days, 5 professional days and 4 holidays as outlined in the PSRP collective bargaining agreement (CBA). Preschool paraeducators work part-time 4 days per week (Monday - Thursday).
Compensation: Based upon experience as outlined within the PSRP CBA, the ranges for paraeducator are as follows:

• Para I $20.00 through $32.37 per hour
• Para II $22.00 through $35.61 per hour (requires active paraeducator II certification from NH DOE)
• Note: Wage scale steps will not necessarily correlate with years of experience.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• College degree, preferred
• Previous experience working in a special education role
• NH Department of Education Paraeducator II certification, preferred
