Role Description

The District Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in St Louis, MO, responsible for overseeing multiple restaurant locations to ensure operational excellence and consistent brand standards. This role includes managing and coaching General Managers, monitoring financial performance, and implementing strategies to achieve sales growth and profitability targets. The District Manager will review store-level metrics, support staffing and scheduling plans, and ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and guest service standards. Daily responsibilities involve conducting regular store visits, leading performance conversations, supporting training initiatives, and reinforcing Qdoba’s cultural pillars of Hospitality, Positivity, and Performance. The role also requires partnering with leadership on local marketing efforts, resolving operational challenges, and cultivating an inclusive, high-engagement work environment across the district.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated multi-unit restaurant or retail management experience, with the ability to oversee several locations and teams effectively.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people-development skills, including experience in performance management, mentoring, and succession planning.
• Proficiency in operations management, including inventory control, scheduling, compliance with food safety standards, and execution of brand guidelines.
• Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, analyzing P&L statements, and implementing cost-control and revenue-growth strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and build positive guest and team member relationships.
• Comfort with using point-of-sale systems and basic business software (e.g., spreadsheets, reporting tools) to track performance and inform decisions.
• Ability to work on-site across multiple locations in the St Louis, MO area, with reliable transportation and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Prior experience in fast-casual or quick-service restaurants is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required, and post-secondary education in business or hospitality is a plus.
