The Opportunity

Ambiance Luxury Boutique is seeking a hands-on, results-oriented District Manager to lead its Central Coast retail locations. This leader will drive sales, develop high-performing teams, strengthen store operations, and ensure a consistent, elevated customer experience across both boutiques.

The ideal candidate combines strong commercial judgment with a passion for fashion, client relationships, and people development. This is an opportunity to make a visible impact within an established local brand while helping shape the next chapter of its retail business.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales, profitability, and operational performance across both stores.
• Coach and develop store leaders, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Establish clear goals and use retail performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve results.
• Maintain elevated standards for customer service, styling, clienteling, and follow-up.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, inventory control, loss prevention, and daily store operations.
• Ensure visual merchandising and store presentation consistently reflect the brand.
• Partner with company leadership on recruiting, training, marketing, events, and business initiatives.
• Communicate priorities clearly and serve as the primary connection between store teams and senior leadership.
• Travel regularly between the San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles locations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of progressive retail leadership experience.
• Multi-store or high-volume store management experience preferred.
• Experience in luxury, premium, specialty fashion, beauty, or accessories is strongly preferred.
• Proven success driving sales, customer loyalty, and team performance.
• Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, labor planning, and visual merchandising.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and hands-on environment.
• Flexible availability based on business needs.

Compensation range: $120,000-125,000 base + Bonus
