District ManagerWe are searching for a dynamic, highly motivated, and goal-oriented District Manager to oversee the San Francisco, Peninsula, South Bay, and Monterey markets. This role is responsible for driving growth within key accounts, collaborating with suppliers and distributor sales teams, organizing special events, and implementing corporate market initiatives.ResponsibilitiesAllocate time and priorities across approximately 85% account management, 10% distributor management, and 5% administrative responsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a targeted key account list while building strong relationships with buyers, owners, and managers across assigned accountsPartner with local distributors and supplier partners to drive brand visibility, placements, and sales growth within retail and on/off-premise channelsPlan, coordinate, and execute on-premise and off-premise promotional activities and market initiativesConduct wine tastings, staff trainings, and wine dinners for both trade professionals and consumersAnalyze monthly account performance, depletion trends, and sales activity to identify opportunities for growthMonitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunitiesManage and achieve individual goals related to depletions, placements, distribution growthQualificationsBachelor's degree requiredMinimum three years' experience selling fine wines (Sommelier, Supplier, Distributor)Must have proven track record in developing new business, managing existing accounts, calling and maintaining business relationshipsMust have exceptional closing skills, strong verbal/written communication and organizational skillsPassion and knowledge of wine, wine regions and the wine industry (WSET, CSW a plus)Strong computer skills are a MUST (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Must be 21 years of ageMust possess a valid driver's licenseMust be able to travel within the territory up to 25% of the timePhysical RequirementsMust be able to comfortably lift and carry up to 50 poundsMust be able to walk, stand, climb, balance, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch on a daily basisKobrand Corporation offers a competitive salary, performance-based bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The base compensation range for this job classification is between $90,000 and $100,000.
