Salary: $80,000/yr.

Overview

NPMA is seeking an experienced District Manager to oversee a portfolio of apartment communities within our growing property management company. This role leads multi‑site operations, supports Regional Managers and Property Managers, and drives occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction across the district.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations for multiple residential properties / apartment communities
  • Supervise and mentor Property Managers, leasing teams, and maintenance staff
  • Monitor occupancy rates, leasing performance, and resident retention
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and expense control
  • Conduct property inspections and operational audits
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, company policies, and safety standards
  • Partner with leadership on marketing, leasing strategy, and revenue growth
  • Review financial reports, KPIs, and property performance metrics

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of property management experience
  • Multi‑site management experience
  • Strong knowledge of apartment operations, budgeting, reporting, and property financials
  • Experience with Isolved (payroll platform) and property management software; MRI and Nexus are a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar certification is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties
