Store Operations – Charlotte, North Carolina
The Torrid District Manager role is based in Charlotte, NC, and oversees stores in GA, NC, SC, and TN. What You’ll Do
- Provide immediate feedback and coaching to ensure the team delivers the Torrid Experience to every customer.
- Coach store leaders on effective scheduling and floor coverage to maximize sales.
- Maintain an appealing store environment and ensure visual merchandising standards are met.
- Minimize turnover by hiring and retaining qualified, career-focused team members who fit the Torrid culture.
- Communicate business objectives and provide feedback on financial results.
- Lead the execution of company vision, Torrid initiatives, and day‑to‑day operations.
- Ensure store compliance with all company policies and procedures, including operations, merchandising, finance, administration, compensation, safety, salary, and loss prevention.
- Visit each store regularly, provide documented visit recaps at least quarterly, and audit procedures.
- Ensure all stores achieve sales plans and/or composite sales goals.
- Deliver district KPI performance, manage payroll hours, and manage shrink within company guidelines.
- Perform other job duties as required.
What You’ll Need
- 5+ years of specialty/apparel management experience and 1‑2 years as a District Manager or equivalent.
- Knowledge of women’s fashion is required; knowledge of the Torrid target market and plus‑size customer needs is preferred.
- High school diploma or GED; college degree is a plus.
- Dedication to meeting internal and external customer requirements and responding promptly and thoroughly to all requests.
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, give honest, direct feedback, and solid verbal and written communication.
- Upholds and furthers Torrid’s culture and values; inquisitive and open to fashion trends.
- Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, copes well with change, and remains composed under pressure.
- Accountable for results, approaches obstacles proactively, and seeks to resolve problems.
- Flexible and adaptive to environment, ideas, and challenges.
- Able to travel frequently.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, and lift/move up to 10 pounds; may lift/move up to 30 pounds occasionally.

Salary
Salary range: $85,000–$110,000.00
