Overview

The role of DES Service Associate is to serve as a member of a temporary work unit on a disaster relief operation to complete assigned responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and distribute supplies
• Ensure accuracy of all assigned tasks
• Meet the disaster-caused bulk supplies needs of individuals, families, and communities

Qualifications

• Age 18+ and Driver’s License (required)
• Ability to function in a high-stress environment
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to interact with community members in a compassionate manner
• Ability to lift 20-50 lbs multiple times during a shift
• Ability to bend and stoop multiple times during a shift
