About the Role
Delivery Core is a full‑stack platform engineering team that builds continuous delivery tools for Netflix’s global services. The role focuses on backend distributed systems, building and maintaining the CD platform (Spinnaker & Managed Delivery).
Responsibilities
- Reduce friction and time to deploy software across the internal fleet.
- Improve safety of infrastructure changes.
- Improve ease of use for configuring application deployment specifications.
- Write, improve, maintain, and sunset critical services at scale.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with partner teams.
Qualifications
- Strong software skills in Java (or other JVM languages). Kotlin is a plus.
- Experience operating complex distributed systems, including databases, APIs (REST, gRPC, GraphQL), and controllers.
- Proficient in backend services and integration layers.
- Experienced on developer platform teams where engineers are customers.
- Worked on schema changes in a federated GraphQL gateway.
- Familiar with Spring Boot framework.
- Proficient with high‑volume data stores.

Competitive salary range: $100,000 - $720,000 annually.
