This included collecting plots on general purpose data, address, and control busses as well as power supply rails, Ethernet ports, I2C, PCI, etc.Working knowledge of proper techniques for doing timing analysis on boards in the labTest and manufacturabilityKnowledge of In Circuit Test (ICT)Short/Open Measurements and Testability for all discrete devicesDigital/Analog tests and measurementsBoundary scan testing (JTAG)Working knowledge of issues related to Electromigration, ESD, Thermal Profiling, PCB fabrication and AssemblySoftwareWorking knowledge of programming software such as C and PERL. The requirements for the job are such that the Principal Hardware Engineer is able to read and understand the code written in C.
