Distinguished Engineer - Dynamo

We are currently seeking a senior‑level Distinguished Engineer to join the Dynamo engineering team at NVIDIA. The role is a key technical leader, responsible for driving technology and product direction, providing deep technical guidance to the team, and shaping the next generation of inference on NVIDIA hardware.

What You Will Be Doing

• Contribute to the Dynamo family of open‑source projects.
• Serve as a technical expert in AI inferencing, pushing the frontier of what’s possible.
• Represent Dynamo and NVIDIA with customers, partners, and the AI community.
• Lead critical initiatives around resiliency, performance, and scalability for Dynamo and AI inference.
• Build and drive Dynamo to remain a production‑ready, data‑center‑scale AI inferencing platform.
• Collaborate with partner teams across storage, networking, hardware, and performance.
• Stay current on AI/ML infrastructure technologies and promote their implementation within the company.

What We Require

• BS, MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 18+ years of proven experience in systems software engineering.
• Expertise in the AI inference space, such as operating production inference systems at scale or working on inference engines.
• Experience serving as a senior technical leader with the ability to lead through influence.
• Proficiency in Rust, Python, Go, and familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to analyze complex systems, identify bottlenecks, and implement scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, effective with diverse teams.

Benefits

Highly competitive base salary ranging from $320,000 to $488,750, equity eligibility, and a comprehensive benefits package.
