Dishwasher Position at Staten Island FerryHawks Stadium
Staten Island FerryHawks Stadium is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to support food service operations at one of Staten Island's premier sports and entertainment venues, located along the scenic waterfront. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are ready for game days and events.
Essential Functions
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and prep areas
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed, such as sorting and storing supplies
- Remove trash and recycling from kitchen and dishwashing areas
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate restocking needs to supervisors
- Assist kitchen staff with maintaining overall cleanliness during busy events
- Operate dishwashing machines and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Support setup and breakdown of kitchen and service areas before and after events
- Follow all stadium policies and safety procedures
- Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general position compliance training
- Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management
- Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies
- Complete other duties assigned by management
- Available to work none-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderately heavy items
- Team-oriented, dependable, and punctual
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate of $19.15 per hour, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.

Physical Demands
