Dishwasher Position
As a Dishwasher, you'll keep the kitchen running smoothly by ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use. You'll maintain a clean, organized work environment and assist with basic food prep when needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines
- Keep dishwashing, kitchen, and trash disposal areas clean
- Organize and store cleaned items properly
- Assist with food prep and unloading kitchen deliveries
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly
- Support kitchen staff during peak times and special events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is a plus
- Basic food handling and sanitation knowledge preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Teamwork and communication skills
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in hot, noisy, and smoky environments
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
