Seeking a dependable dishwasher to support a fast-paced food service operation. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean supply of dishes, cookware, utensils, and trays while following food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
Job Description
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, trays, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment.
- Return clean dishes and supplies to designated preparation and serving areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized dish room and restaurant work areas.
- Properly use cleaning chemicals and sanitizing products.
- Remove trash and follow established waste-management procedures.
- Complete assigned dish room opening and closing duties.
- Follow food handling, health, hygiene, sanitation, and safety requirements.
- Support a clean and positive dining experience for customers.
Required Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
- Ability to safely operate dishwashing equipment and use cleaning chemicals.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work primarily weekends.
- Availability to work additional days as needed.
