Dishwasher Position
The Dishwasher position is responsible for the proper handling, cleaning and sanitation of dishware, glass wear and other equipment and utensils in a timely manner. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: attendance, punctuality and dependability; adaptability; initiative, planning/organizing; teamwork, and, safety and security.
Essential Job Functions:
- Scrapes food from dishes and washes them by hand or places them on the conveyor to dishwasher
- Segregates and removes food waste and liquids
- Steam cleans and hoses out garbage cans
- Preps food as needed
- Keeps work area clean and organized
- Complies with all Highlands policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction
- Ability to interface with diverse staff with positivity
- Ability to stand for extended period of time
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Successfully pass drug screen
