What You’ll Do As a Dishwasher at Batbox, you’ll keep things moving behind the scenes and help set the stage for every guest to have a legendary experience. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness help fuel the entire team. Some of your responsibilities include:
Operate dish machines and equipment safely and confidently
Wash, sanitize, and organize all dishware, flatware, cookware, and glassware
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
Keep floors, drains, and mats clean, and take charge of trash removal throughout the shift
Clean and maintain kitchen areas including walls, storage spaces, and dish stations to keep everything running smoothly.
Assist with line maintenance and help prep items or support event food prep as needed.
Step in wherever you’re needed - whether it’s sweeping the line, organizing back-of-house storage, or supporting other back-of-house team members
What We’re Looking For
A team-first attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures 100% of the time
Stamina to stand, lift, and move throughout your shift - this is a fast-paced, high-energy environment
A reliable, positive work ethic and commitment to getting the job done right
Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is a plus, but not required
You are at least 18 years old
What to Expect
Be on your feet for 100% of your shift - standing, and moving throughout the back-of-house
Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs
Navigate a fast-paced, high-energy environment where noise and distractions are common
Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
Reach, bend, stoop, stretch, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
