Dishwasher
Little Mama's Italian is expanding to Cornelius, and we are looking for hardworking, team-oriented individuals to join our kitchen and help us maintain our high standards as we continue to grow.
This hybrid role combines dishwashing responsibilities with food prep duties, making you a key part of our kitchen's success. You'll help keep operations running smoothly while supporting the culinary team with prep tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Diswashing Duties:
- Load, run, and unload the dish machine efficiently
- Maintain clean and sanitized dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Monitor dish machine performance to ensure proper sanitation
- Handle all dishware carefully to prevent breakage
Prep Cook Support:
- Assist with food prep (chopping, portioning, stocking)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep and kitchen areas
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
All kitchen positions are required to:
- Support the team wherever needed to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Follow all workplace safety guidelines
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, loud environment
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and organization
