Job Summary: The Dishwasher ensures all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are clean and sanitized. This role also maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen and dishwashing area.
Required Availability: 40 Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (Weekdays 4pm-Midnight, Weekends 4pm-1am)
Key Responsibilities: *but not limited to
- Cleaning: Wash dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans.
- Storing: Sort and store clean items in their proper places.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep dishwashing area and kitchen clean, including floors and surfaces.
- Equipment Care: Check and maintain dishwashing machines and report issues.
- Sanitizing: Follow all health and safety guidelines.
- Assisting: Help with food prep and other kitchen tasks as needed. (Example: Breaking down boxes and taking out the trash, keeping the restrooms and hallways tidy)
- Compliance: Follow all restaurant policies and health codes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous dishwasher experience is required.
- Skills: Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
