Position Summary
The Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment while supporting the culinary team during busy service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and stocked.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
- Sweep, mop, and maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors.
- Remove trash, recycling, and break down boxes.
- Assist with basic food preparation and other kitchen tasks as needed.
- Complete opening and closing duties assigned by management.
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team in a high-volume environment.
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to cleanliness.
Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
