General Job Description
  • Must guarantee the highest standard of work by maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment for you and your fellow employees. Must clean up spills immediately. Must operate the dishwasher and assure that the dishwasher is maintained by cleaning the equipment and putting it back together.
  • Wash dishes, trays, silverware, and other implements by machine and by hand when necessary.
  • Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
  • Sweep and mop floors.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Must guarantee the highest standard of work by maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment for you and your fellow employees. Must clean up spills immediately.
  • Must report any sanitation issues to appropriate Managers and/or Supervisors.
  • Must maintain equipment and report immediately when something is broken to the Manager and or Supervisor.
  • Must aid the kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times.
  • Must have good personal hygiene.
  • The use of personal items including, but not limited to, books, any form of electronic device and/or cell phone is prohibited. These items are permitted to be used in the employee area during the employees allotted break time. Some exceptions may apply. See Manager or Supervisor for approval.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Manager or Supervisor.
Skills and Abilities
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods

Hours/Shifts
Due to the type of business, you must be able to work nights, weekends, special occasions, and holidays.

  • Victory Casino Cruises has a no visible tattoo policy. For this position you must be clear of all visible tattoos.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, physical, background screening, and credit check.
  • You will be required to obtain a TWIC and MMC. Acceptable documents to obtain badging are Passport OR Government issued photo ID and certified copy of Birth Certificate. Supporting documents would be needed for a name change. Please note that individuals with pending court cases or who are currently on probabtion will not qualify for badging approval.
