LHH is partnering with the Nashville office of large, full-service law firm to recruit a mid-level to senior Labor & Employment Litigation Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its well-established and growing L&E practice. This role offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated employment litigation matters, work directly with clients, and take significant ownership of cases from inception through resolution.
Manage and support all phases of labor & employment litigation, including pre-litigation counseling through trial and resolution Draft and respond to pleadings, motions (including dispositive motions), and discovery requests Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex employment law issues Manage discovery, including document review, production, and strategy Collaborate with partners and clients on case strategy and risk assessment Advise clients on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
3+ years of labor & employment litigation experience or a blend of L&E and other relevant sophisticated litigation experience
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
Collaborative and highly regarded Labor & Employment practice
Exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes litigation matters
