Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Disability Claims Analyst will secure and analyze long-term disability claim information to make and approve decisions and payments while providing responsive customer service to claimants and policyholders. Key Responsibilities Investigate and analyze medical, occupational, and policy information to determine LTD eligibility and resolve discrepancies Make and communicate disability decisions, issue accurate benefits, and manage claims with appropriate strategies Monitor ongoing medical updates and vocational factors to drive timely claim resolution Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum eighteen months of progressively responsible experience in disability claims administration 5+ years of progressive experience in LTD claims is highly preferred Ability to analyze and apply medical, technical, contractual, and legal information Demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State, and local laws affecting claims
