InfraRec is working with a national site development contractor generating over $1 billion in annual revenue, with more than 2,000 employees and operations across the East Coast and Central regions. They are looking to add a Director or VP of Civil Construction to help oversee operations across their project portfolio. This role can be based remotely, with regular travel to project sites and regional offices.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight across multiple civil and site development projects
- Set operational strategy for project execution, staffing, and resource allocation across regions
- Partner with project executives, project managers, and superintendents to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance across the civil division
- Build and maintain relationships with major clients, partners, and subcontractors
- Support business development efforts, including participation in client meetings and project pursuits
- Identify and develop talent within the organization, supporting succession planning for key field and operations roles
- Ensure consistent safety, quality, and compliance standards across all active projects
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in civil construction or site development, including senior leadership or operations roles
- Proven track record overseeing multiple large-scale projects or a regional portfolio
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight at a divisional or company level
- Experience managing and developing project executives, project managers, and field leadership
- Comfortable working remotely while maintaining strong communication with regional teams and travelling as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
Day-to-Day
This is a remote-based role with regular travel to project sites and regional offices across the East Coast and Central regions. Expect frequent communication with project executives and regional leadership, ongoing review of budgets and project performance, and involvement in client relationships and business development. The role requires balancing high-level strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in key projects and decisions.
- Base salary exceeding $200,000, plus bonus (Average payout of 40% over last 5 years)
