The Team Lead is responsible for directing a cohesive, integrated sales team, establishing and communicating expectations, and building close relationships with segment leadership across Healthcare, Financial Institutions, Technology, Media & Telecom, Food & Beverage, and Private Equity Sponsors to identify cross-sell opportunities for new and existing relationships while delivering exceptional service to clients. The role involves improving the client experience, enhancing Capital One’s market presence, fostering teamwork, and executing go-to-market strategies.

Key responsibilities include managing Treasury Management Consultants (TMCs), collaborating with Product Managers and segment leaders to meet corporate goals, coaching TMCs, and contributing to the division's strategic planning and budgeting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a cohesive sales team, partnering with segment leadership and relationship managers
• Influence key bank leaders on strategic needs and initiatives
• Contribute to treasury management strategy, identify risks and opportunities
• Lead sales initiatives, including product offerings and marketing
• Ensure TMCs focus on sales activities to meet goals
• Maintain client relationships, ensuring regulatory and compliance adherence
• Manage team performance, coaching, and hiring
• Stay updated on treasury management trends through industry events
• Provide market data to improve treasury services and identify unmet needs
• Develop regional and national prospect relationships

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Minimum 8 years in financial services
• Minimum 6 years sales experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• At least 8 years in treasury management or Commercial Banking
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or equivalent

Salary ranges vary by location, e.g., Atlanta, GA: $168,000 - $191,700; New York, NY: $201,600 - $230,100. Salaries are contingent on location and offered at the time of hire. The role is eligible for performance-based incentives, including bonuses and long-term incentives.
