What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement a strategic plan for Perioperative Services.
- Analyze data and leverage technology to optimize processes and enhance patient outcomes.
- Oversee daily operations of Surgical Services, ensuring efficient resource allocation and budgetary compliance.
- Foster a positive work environment, empowering the team to achieve their full potential.
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, physicians, and administrative staff.
- Drive a culture of safety and quality, enhancing patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
- Participate in shared governance and patient safety initiatives.
- Lead and inspire the team through periods of change, communicating organizational objectives.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Master's degree in nursing or in healthcare administration, business, or related field required
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration
- Minimum of 5 years of varied and progressive management & perioperative services experience
Licenses & Certifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- CNOR preferred or to be obtained within 6 months
