An industry-leading global organization is seeking a Director of Strategic Sourcing to help shape the future of a multi-billion-dollar procurement organization. In this role, you'll lead strategic sourcing initiatives across complex direct and indirect spend categories while partnering with senior leaders across Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, and Commercial teams. Beyond delivering savings, you'll play a key role in strengthening supplier partnerships, mitigating risk, accelerating innovation, and enhancing supply chain resilience on a global scale.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including sourcing, vendor negotiation, and contract management


• Strategically source various key components - plastics, chemicals, resins, APIs, molded components, packaging, sterilization, etc.


• Work with cross-functional teams to assess procurement needs and identify strategic sourcing opportunities


• Oversee supplier relationship management to ensure consistent quality and value


• Implement procurement strategies that optimize cost, efficiency, and resilience in the supply chain.


• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for process improvement.


• Lead procurement teams in evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance.


• Set clear objectives and strategies for the team to achieve goals through planning, directing work, and coaching associates.

What You’ll Bring:

• 10+ years of progressive strategic sourcing, procurement, and supply chain leadership experience within a complex global organization.


• Demonstrated success leading high-performing sourcing teams and developing talent.


• Expertise managing large-scale direct and/or indirect spend across multiple categories.


• Strong background developing and executing enterprise-wide sourcing strategies that deliver measurable business value beyond cost savings.


• Experience negotiating complex, high-value supplier agreements and managing executive-level supplier relationships.
