• Advise LADS business leaders as a strategic legal partner
• Provide legal guidance on U.S. and international laws
• Review, draft, negotiate, and advise on international agreements
• Support international award and execution
• Prepare and deliver written correspondence and legal memoranda
• Counsel on warranty claims and coordinate with local partners
• Manage outside counsel matters and contribute to budgeting and planning
• Engage collaboratively across the SBU, maintaining strong relationships
Requirements
- Typically requires 12 years of legal experience
- 8+ years at a law firm, in-house, or government
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school
- Currently admitted and in good standing with at least one U.S. State bar
- Experience in reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and advising on government or commercial agreements
- Experience with U.S. and international anti-corruption regimes
- Experience with cross-border corporate governance and international risk
- Experience with export controls and trade regulations
