The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Global Media International, our international programming business.We are currently seeking a Director - Security Operations based onsite in our New York, New York headquarters.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for Security across the AMC Global Media portfolioLead the development and implementation of comprehensive companywide physical security strategies and policiesEducating senior leadership, managers, and employees regarding proper security protocols including conducting regular emergency response drills and trainingConduct internal risk assessments and security audits and recommending enhancements to improve security including implementing and managing security tools and solutions.Coordinate all physical security efforts, from day-to-day building operations to major company events, scaling support and level of security as needed Identify and manage undetected threats, vulnerabilities, and security gaps, including supporting and managing vulnerability testing and assessmentsInvestigate and take appropriate actions with respect to online threats against Company personnelConducting Crisis Management TrainingPrepare regular reports for executive management on security status and incident responseManage, coordinate, maintain, and update essential security documentation, including Security manuals, Emergency Response Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Incident reports and vendor lists.Manage, monitor, assess, and handle security-related service tickets, compliance tasks, while supporting fire/life safety coordination and management.Manage contract guard services including selection, placement, training, and retention strategies, and assist with or conduct training as neededWork with outside security consultants including liaising with corporate security teams provided by Landlord at Company leased propertiesKeeping abreast of the latest security trends and technologies, implementing innovative solutions as appropriateQUALIFICATIONSProven track record of 10+ years, combining corporate security expertise and/or law enforcement leadership experienceDeep knowledge of standard security best practices and crisis management protocols, with strong understanding of physical security technology and its role in supporting operationsAbility to liaise with U.S.

law enforcement and intelligence personnelProfessional demeanor, organized, and detail orientedAbility to handle sensitive information with appropriate discretionExcellent decision-making skills and the ability to respond effectively to high-pressure situationsFamiliarity with building management procedures and building codesExperience in the entertainment or hospitality industry a plusBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferredThe base compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $175,000 commensurate with experience.
