Functions as the principal investigator, co-principal investigator, or project director of sponsored projects
Has primary authority over the conduct of a project including protocol development and adherence, human subjects, personnel management and budget oversight
Publishes study results as first author or co-author
Supervises other project staff
Functions as the primary programmatic liaison with the sponsor
Performs related responsibilities as required
Requirements
A PhD, DrPh, or other equivalent degree (MD)
Five years of directly related work experience
PhD and relevant postdoc training in omics science (preferred)
Proven experience in project management, particularly with large-scale research projects of research centers (preferred)
Experience working with grant management, preferably NIH (preferred)
Expertise in using project management software, e.g., MS Project (preferred)
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills (preferred)
Excellent communication skills (preferred)
Experience working in interdisciplinary teams (preferred)
Experience managing projects related to environmental health or neurodegenerative diseases (preferred)
Background in public health or related field (preferred)
