Job Summary
The Director, Provider Recruitment will be responsible for developing and executing a system-wide recruitment strategy for both Physician and Advanced Practice Providers (APP). Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing the system-wide provider job requisition process. As the first pillar of the Provider Engagement experience, this role will set the tone for a positive provider experience and future career within Centralus Health.

The Director, Provider Recruitment will be responsible for developing and executing a system-wide recruitment strategy for both Physician and Advanced Practice Providers (APP). Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing the system-wide provider job requisition process. Job Functions (5-10)
- Engineer and lead the Centralus provider recruitment strategy with the goal of increasing candidate sourcing opportunities and filling provider requisitions efficiently and successfully
- Responsible for developing of a system-wide provider job requisition process that will impart new guardrails and budget-approval requirements to align with the system-wide strategy of achieving financial sustainability; includes working closely with Operations, Finance and other internal stakeholders to develop a collaborative process
- Manage and lead a hybrid team of provider recruiters
- Manage the provider management system (PMS) which may include evaluating current partners to determine ideal system-wide partner to meet identified Centralus goals
- Identify and monitor performance metrics that will be used to evaluate and track progress of the recruitment team to both leadership and Centralus Board of Directors
- Leads recurring meetings to provide reports to leadership team detailing status of candidates in the pipeline along with the job requisitions they are connected to
- Works closely and collaboratively with all areas of the Centralus Provider Engagement team to help create a positive and smooth experience for providers
- Research issues related to recruitment workflows and provides feedback/recommendations to management for review
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with the capability to pivot quickly and adapt to directional change
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when exposed to sensitive information

Required:
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, healthcare administration, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in healthcare
- Experience managing and evaluating a team
- Master's Degree in business, human resources, healthcare administration, or a related field
- Knowledge in JIRA project management system
- Position will be onsite in Ithaca (CMC & Warren Road) and Elmira (AOMC) up to 3 days a week. Full-time administrative position that may require nights and/or weekend events.
