Director, Protein Sciences

Role

Senior leader overseeing Protein Sciences within Johnson & Johnson's Innovative Medicine R&D, focusing on antibody discovery and biologics development.

Responsibilities

• evaluate therapeutic targets through structural and computational analysis, design and engineer proteins to optimize stability and function, and develop immunogens for hit identification;
• contribute across target assessment, antigen design, and protein engineering domains.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Structural Biology, or related;
• 10+ years' experience in biologics discovery or protein sciences;
• proven leadership in pharma/biotech;
• expertise in antigen design, structural biology, and biologics workflows;
• strong communication and strategic thinking.

Preferred

• experience in Oncology, Immunology, or Neuroscience;
• people management skills.
